NZ is opening up - changes are made

NZ is still in Orange and will be for the foreseeable future.  As we move towards NZ opening up to the rest of the world, conditions for isolating at home or continuing to work in a "bubble of one" will apply to most of our staff as they are coming to work, getting in their truck and have little to no contact with anyone between their personal vehicle and their truck on a day to day basis.

If you or someone you know are struggling with living under the constant barrage of information, updates, speculation, separation, blah, blah click https://mentalhealth.org.nz/ge... for some tips and tools to help get you through.

Keeping our Drivers and Families Well

As NZ opens up....

From July 1st 2022 things will start to look a little different as we move in to a new phase of getting ready for crowds, tourists and possibly a spike in cases as personal responsibility for dealing with this whole thing is ramped up.

All our staff continue to be vigilant with Health and Safety protocols and mask wearing is mandatory whenever they are out of the cab of their truck.  All interaction with customers is still non-contact so no shaking hands or getting too close to other people.

Our beginning and end of day cleaning regime will continue with a view to keep our staff well and able to work.

IF YOU ARE SICK - STAY HOME

Are things going back to "normal"?!  Do we even remember what that was??

If you are a close or casual contact or feel unwell, wear a mask inside your home until your test results come back negative!  Regular handwashing and sanitising needs to be ramped up again and actually, just stay home.

Check out the information on www.covid19.govt.nz and be mindful of being around people who are unwell or who are vulnerable.  It's up to us - all of us to do the healthy thing.
